Kubota Translation Services provides a full range of Japanese-English translation and professional services, specializing in legal, medical and technical translation and simultaneous interpretation. Headquartered in Florida, KTS's expertise has been put to work both around the country and across the globe, assisting clients everywhere from boardrooms and factories to baseball fields.
Our founder and president, Hide Kubota, is fluent in English and Japanese. Hide was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and has lived in the U.S. since 1977. He holds bachelor's degrees in Russian from Sapporo University and in Linguistics from the University of Florida.

For more than two decades, we have brought our linguistic expertise to Walt Disney World's Japanese and American operations, often during high-level executive visits to their Orlando theme park.
We have worked with Johnson & Johnson steadily since 1994—mostly based at their industry-leading Vistakon facility in Jacksonville, Florida, with additional trips to Limerick, Ireland. Hide has liased between teams of Japanese engineers on business-critical robotics equipment installation.
We've worked internationally between Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Japan, culminating in the opening of the highly-successful Universal Studios Osaka theme park in 2001.
Our president, Hide Kubota, has interpreted for an international team of umpires, helping them make decisions more efficiently, at several World Baseball Classic tournaments.
Thermalex is a precision metal machining company in Alabama, owned by Mitsubishi. KTS has translated technical documents and interpreted among Thermalex's international teams of Japanese and American engineers.
